The Universidad Nacional de Trujillo (UNT) and the Université of Rennes (UR) have been collaborating actively for several years to set up an original master's program, combining South American archeology at the Universidad National de Trujillo, with fundamental sciences such as physics or chemistry at the Université of Rennes. It is an interdisciplinary and international degree, with all courses taking place in Peru, preparing students to work as professional archeologists, and accepting both Peruvian and European students, in initial or continuing training.
